Jesus Christ is our Senior Pastor

All churches described in the Bible were led by multiple “elders/pastors” (Acts 14:23; Acts 15:2; Acts 20:17; Titus 1:5; James 5:14; 1 Peter 5:1). In the New Testament, the words “elder,” “pastor,” and “overseer” are interchangeable, and they all represent the same leadership position. There was and is only one “Senior Pastor” or “Lead Pastor”… and His name is Jesus. Every New Testament example shows us that in the early days, churches were led by multiple pastors who were equal in authority, but specialized in function… Therefore, Ekklesia operates the same way. If you look below, you will see our four pastors who follow Jesus and lead Ekklesia based on His guidance.

Chris and his wife Andrea have an energetic 2-year old son named Levi, and they are eagerly awaiting the birth of their second child. The Lamberts live here in Westland and love serving both the local community and the world.
