The move to JGHS is when God pushed us from the back to do way more great things and to step up to the next level. He already gave us His love, His talent to use it way more than we expected it. Such a transformation in every team is almost indescribable! We so needed this intervention and I am happy for it !

Let me say that I am so impressed with the people of Ekklesia (a.k.a Ekklesians). I am blessed to be around each of you. Your passion and commitment to be disciples and make disciples was evident on Sunday. Everyone stepped up in such an awesome way that when it was all said and done you would have thought we had been meeting at JGHS for years.

At the source of all that went right on Sunday was a lot of answered prayers. It is on days like this past Sunday that we see the fruit of our commitment to be a people of prayer.

One thing I know for certain, every part of JGHS will be used to "Be Disciples. Make Disciples." With the super sounding auditorium with plenty of seating and enough leg room you would think you were flying first class. The cafeteria which the Soul Food team has invaded and connecting can be taken to a new level, the nursery where toddlers can play in 3x the space they had before, the kids classrooms where elementary age kids have high school desks, and every other part of the building that will be utilized in the future.

As for the future of Ekklesia at JGHS...buckle-up the ride will be thrilling. It always is when you follow Jesus.

Sunday was awesome. All I can say is that I saw the love of serving in people and and felt God's presence in everything that was done. The cafeteria is big, and we only used a quarter of the space, so there is even more room when that will be needed. I also want to thank all the ladies that have signed up to help with the Food Ministry and also the men that helped out set up. I saw a strong bond already form and it makes me feel even more exited. I also like the auditorium, the sound is great and the band sounds good, all the ushers did a great job too. The kids were also very exited, I can't believe that there are already three classes for the kids, wow, GO KIDS. It was a great Sunday, and there are many more to come. Praise GOD.

It was great and I know it's going to get even better. The auditorium looks and sounds great, plenty of parking, comfortable seats, a non "churchy" atmosphere, and a large room with big tables to eat and hang out. Most people know where John Glen is so we won't have to give out directions very often, just the time.

As I pulled up to the parking lot at John Glenn High on Sunday morning, I was excited and very impressed! The blow-up man with a friendly greeter directing traffic, to the signs leading up to the parking lot...really played a part in the excitement. Love the shirts over the "Do Not Enter" signs :) As Nursery overseer, I was extremely satisfied with the new nursery classroom and set-up. We still have a lot to do to make it complete, but what a great first day!!

I can't wait to sit in on a sermon and see what the auditorium feels like...also to worship God with the Worship Music Band:))))

I am seeing God's great commission come into play for me more. By being a part of the nursery, I am able to bring the knowledge of Christ to children. By singing, reading stories, playing and just loving them, putting my arms around them and letting them feel the love of Christ through me...wow, that is amazing!

More space for dramas. More elbow room for eating. Comfortable seats. Is this what the mana was like in the desert?

Hey everyone,
Well I love the new set up. On stage for the first time I could actually hear everyone at the right levels and it was not to loud in the monitors:), and I know it's only going to get better as we tweek things.
One of the other highlights on Sunday that I experienced was the fellowship in the cafeteria, maybe it was the set up with the long tables, but it seemed like everyone was fellowshipping with lots of different people...it was way cool!
I'm glad the move has been made...everyone please continue to PRAY as we are far from our journey....Love you all. Peace.

I'm really thrilled with the journey God is bringing Ekklesia on. The venue at John Glenn High is beautiful. The band sounds fantastic, and best of all, we have room to grow!

I think that God wants us to be attached to one another, not to a physical structure. As far as being disciples goes, the extra teamwork necessary to set up and tear down every week should give us valuable practice in godly cooperation and develop relationships. And some of the obstacles that some people have regarding traditional church buildings are moot--that and the extra space help us make disciples.

I'm loving it.
