Prayer

Life with Jesus isn’t a religion… it’s a relationship.  Because it is both natural and essential to communicate with someone you love, we encourage you to pray every day (Philippians 4:6-7).  However, we don’t always “feel” like praying.  It’s in times like these that we need to act our way into feeling, rather than feel our way into acting.  Enjoying communication with God does not just happen over night, but if we approach it with the right mentality, faith, then we will eventually discover the immense pleasure of connecting with God through this medium of communication.

At Ekklesia, we realize the importance of starting small and working our way up from there.  That being said, we invite you to pray at least 5 minutes a day, Monday-Friday.  Once you get that down, expect God to add more quality and quantity time to your prayer life.
